Join Rox for the Hannah’s Room Otterburn Castle Retreat from Thursday 17th to Monday 21st September 2026, set in the stunning surroundings of Otterburn Castle, Northumberland — a truly unique and atmospheric venue for a more intimate and elevated retreat experience.
Here’s what you can expect:
- Arrive from 1.30 PM on Thursday and be welcomed into the Sewing Room, your dedicated creative space within the castle for the duration of the retreat.
- Settle into your sewing space before checking into your ensuite room.
- Enjoy afternoon snacks and refreshments on arrival, served in the Sewing Room so you can ease into your projects straight away.
- Dinner will be served in the castle dining room in the evening, with the option to continue sewing into the night.
- Three meals a day will be provided for the remainder of the retreat, along with mid-morning and mid-afternoon refreshments.
- Breakfast and dinner will be served in the main dining area, with lunch served in the Sewing Room to maximise your creative time.
- On Sunday evening, we’ll host our final show and tell, sharing projects, stories, and a relaxed evening together.
- On Monday morning, you’ll have time to finish any last-minute projects before departing after lunch.
This retreat offers a smaller, more intimate setting, allowing for a calmer pace, more space, and a truly relaxing creative escape. Whether you’re coming alone or with friends, you’ll be part of a warm, welcoming group of like-minded people.
Partners/ Spouses
A limited number of places are available for partners or spouses to accompany you as non-participating guests, sharing your room for the duration of the retreat. This includes full board accommodation (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and refreshments throughout the day), giving them the opportunity to unwind and enjoy the castle experience at their own pace.
As availability is limited, we recommend booking early if you wish to take advantage of this option.
Rooms
All guests will enjoy a charming room full of character within the castle, each offering its own unique style and atmosphere.
Please note that due to the nature of the castle, there are no lifts. A small number of rooms are available on the ground floor, which are offered on a first come, first served basis. If you require one of these rooms, please select the appropriate option when booking or contact us to secure a room.

Guests will have full access to the castle grounds, offering beautiful surroundings for relaxing walks and quiet moments away from the sewing room.
Places on the retreat are limited to 12 places due to the exclusive nature of the venue.
The total cost is £895
A non-refundable deposit of £199 is required to secure your place, with the remaining balance payable by 6th August 2026.
